Stingray trip to Kings Dominion--save the date for July 11!
The swim team will be heading to Kings Dominion for our annual trip July 11th! We typically meet at SOC around 9:00am (to make it to the park for the 11am opening) and then each vehicle’s driver chooses what time he or she is returning home. The park closes at 9pm, so everyone should be home by 10:30pm at the latest (usually considerably earlier for our youngest groups.)
We are working on getting a group rate since the NVSL group rate didn't work well for us--updates to come soon. There are also some season pass options available that are a good value if you plan to visit the park 2 more times.

Kings Dominion does now have a formal chaperone policy but even before that we always worked hard to ensure our younger swimmers were well-supervised--the more information you can share about your swimmer in the RSVP (including buddy requests) the easier this process is.
