Hi Stingray Parents—

Have you planned a wedding with a seating chart? You have a certain number of tables and a certain number of people per table and a fabulous idea from Pinterest involving an old wooden barrel and chicken wire for the display? But it’s not that easy because you can’t put Aunt Hazel with Uncle Wally because they are divorced; you have to find that one laid-back adult to take the last seat at the kid’s table; and you can’t put that one cousin and his girlfriend with the rest of the cousins because they all hate the girlfriend?

Assigning swimmers to a swim meet is the same concept, but without the nice Pinterest vibe. We need as much time as possible to create the lineup for the first Saturday meet on June 17^th. The meet planning starts this Sunday—June 11^th--the day after time trials.

How can you help?

Please RSVP your swimmers up for time trials by tonight, even if they are not attending. If your swimmer is a Mini, or, can’t comfortably swim the length of the pool, they do not need to attend, but please go to Swimtopia and indicate your swimmer is not attending time trials.

If your swimmer can’t come to time trials, please talk to a coach at practice as soon as possible. We will have your swimmer “race” during practice on Thursday or Friday in order to get their times.

Please sign your swimmers up for the meet on June 17^th. We love talking to all of you, but it definitely takes a lot of time to call parents to confirm whether swimmers are available. Nothing is worse than entering a swimmer in a meet, only to find out they are enjoying a fabulous vacation very far away from SOC.

So please, RSVP for Time Trials and the June 17^th meet by Tuesday evening. Instructions are attached!
