Hello Stingrays!

We are getting ready for a fun and exciting swim season in Division 14! Plans include a Dive In Movie, Teen Progressive Dinner, 11&FUNder Fun Social, Float and Float Night (Root Beer Floats and Rafts), and a Kings Dominion Trip. We also plan on continuing our Fun Friday practices and Friday Night Potlucks!!

We still need a few more volunteers for some easy and fun jobs!

Fun Friday Breakfast Coordinator: There are 5-6 Fun Friday breakfasts. The coordinator chooses the theme (examples: donuts, muffins, fun cereal, pancakes), purchases the food, and sets it out after each morning practice.

Assistant Data Coordinator: Shadow our awesome data coordinator (Randy Musgrove) to learn more about the position, provide assistance when needed.

Kings Dominion Coordinator: Most likely, July 13^th event. Coordinate parent chaperones, carpools, and group the swimmers based on age and ride choices (ex—thrill riders and chill riders). Note—this is a voluntary team event—swimmers pay for their own tickets at the NVSL discounted rate.

11&Under Fun Social Coordinator: July 16^th event. While the 12 and older swimmers are at the progressive dinner, our 11 and under swimmers will enjoy a fun event at the pool. Anything goes!! Examples include a dessert potluck, scavenger hunt, water, balloons, tie-dyeing, fun pool relay races, etc.! The coordinator will help plan and communicate this event.

Two important changes for this upcoming swim season:

Minis: Our awesome program for the Minis will continue, but we are increasing the fee to $100 per Mini.

Registration: Registration is opening soon! This year, swim team fees will be paid on-line during the registration process.
